In love and honor of Black Men and Men of Color, all are welcome to celebrate.

Honoring The Divine Masculine Day is an emerging International holiday rooted in sacred balance, affirmation, community harmony, and cultural love.

2026 marks our 10th Annual Observance.

What is Honoring The Divine Maculine?

Honoring The Divine Masculine is a community observance created through Bellydancers of Color Collective as a sacred space for Women to honor Men from a centered place of love, balance, and affirmation.

This is a day of ceremony, movement, dialogue, reflection, and community connection. We gather to celebrate Black Men, African American Men, and Men of Color; to strengthen harmony between Women and Men; and to honor the Divine Masculine as a sacred presence within our families, relationships, communities, and ourselves.

This is about presence. It is about love. It is about creating a higher pattern from a centered place.

Why It Matters

Honoring The Divine Masculine creates a space where love becomes visible, spoken, embodied, and shared.

In a world where Women and Men are often taught to misunderstand, compete with, or defend against one another, this observance offers another way. We gather to interrupt old patterns and seed a new vision for harmony.

Women honor Men from a place of self-love and inner balance. Men are welcomed, affirmed, and celebrated. Families and communities are invited into a shared practice of respect, cultural belonging, and relationship-centered wellness.

Men are needed. Men are wanted. Men are valued.
Their presence matters. Their becoming matters. Their gifts matter across generations.

Who is invited?

Women, Men, families, elders, artists, drummers, dancers, community leaders, wellness practitioners, and aligned partners are welcome.

Men are warmly invited to attend and receive the celebration in person. The observance also remains complete when Women gather among themselves, because Honoring The Divine Masculine is also a sacred practice of naming, affirming, and placing love on the masculine presence within our lives and communities.

This is a space for love, alignment, respect, reflection, and shared community intention.

About The Holiday

Honoring The Divine Masculine Day!

Honoring The Divine Masculine Day began in 2016 through the Bellydancers of Color Collective as a sacred community practice of Women honoring Men from a centered place of love, balance, and affirmation.

Today, through the Bellydancers of Color Collective Foundation, the observance is expanding as a national holiday with the vision of international recognition. Its heart is the public honoring of Black Men and Men of Color — their presence, value, care, creativity, protection, tenderness, leadership, and generational importance.

All communities are welcome to participate, while the direction of the day remains clear: this observance is held in love and honor of Black Men, African American Men, and Men of Color.

How To Celebrate
Honoring The Divine Masculine Day

We begin from a place of self-love first.
Honoring The Divine Masculine starts within. From self-respect, inner balance, and centered love, we honor the sacred balance of our own Inner Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine — then extend that affirmation outward to the Men, boys, families, and communities we cherish.

The Movement in Motion

Conversations · Ceremony · Community

These videos offer a glimpse into the journey of Honoring The Divine Masculine — both the conversations that helped prepare the community and the moments that show the observance in action.

Most of these videos come from Tea Time conversations held before the annual gathering, where we explored themes of love, harmony, The Divine Masculine, The Divine Feminine, relationship balance, and how Women and Men can create a new pattern together.

You’ll also see video moments from the celebration itself, including an early outdoor gathering when Men joined us in circle, drum, and praise, as well as our 9th year experience featuring community elder Nana Malaya sharing wisdom and reflection.

Together, these videos show the heart of the movement: words, movement, witness, community, and love becoming visible.
