Afro-Caribbean styled Bellydance classes and events expressed in a multicultural fashion. The five ladies of Soulful Hips - Leila, Gigi, Janine, Lori & Adina each bring a unique flavor and interpretation to the dance. Have trained under Dr. Sunyatta Amen. This class always offers fundamental Bellydance movements along with each dancers' secret sauce. This is a mosaic tribe of expressive wild women full of joy and love.

Afro-Caribbean fusion Bellydance classes and events founded to preserve the feeling, energy, and Spirit of the original Mama Sita Studio. Specifically interpreting the art of Bellydance through an African American lens and featuring ‘bootylicous’ movement and musical genres including R&B, House, Reggae, African drum, and traditional Bellydance. This sacred circle of souls is a moving meditation lead by Adina and Leila. It is the no judgment zone and the "uncut funk" as taught to us by Dr. Sunyatta Amen. All are welcomed to move, smile and sweat with us.
